David Aboulafia, MD, is an attending physician at Virginia Mason Medical Center with specialties in hematology/oncology, medical oncology, cancer, HIV/AIDS care, HIV-related cancer, Kaposi's sarcoma, leukemia, myeloma, and lymphoma. He has served as the medical director of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's Bailey-Boushay House for over 25 years, is the chair of the Scientific Review Committee, and is a clinical professor of medicine in the division of hematology at the University of Washington. Dr. Aboulafia earned his doctor of medicine in 1983 from the University of Michigan.
